Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: "Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, and He shall build the temple of the LORD; Yes, He shall build the temple of the LORD. He shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on His throne; so He shall be a priest on His throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both."'

"FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD"

JAMES 2:20

Our Bible which tells us that how through faith we can come near to our LORD. But, if we keep believe and along with it if we are not doing any work then our faith is meaningless. In our bible there are many examples which tell us that along with faith it is necessary to do some work also. For example, if we see the life of Abraham then Genesis 12:4-7 tells us that Abraham trusted the LORD our God and for Him he left his birth place and Haran and went into the land of Canaan. Similarly, we also have to listen to the voice of our LORD and have to keep the faith and then we have to do our work. Likewise, if we see the life of Isaac, when he was laid down on the altar as an offering then at that time Isaac didn't showed any kind of objection. Same way we also have to prepare our lives in such a way that whatever our LORD tells us we must not show any kind of objection, but we must do that work which our LORD tells us to do with all our faith and heart. Bible tells us about Moses that he went to set the children of Israel free from Egypt. Exodus 3:5-8 tells us that the LORD spoke to Moses and told him that His people are in pain and are oppressed by the Egyptians, he must go and set them free from the Egyptians and Moses did the same, he kept his faith in our LORD and went to Egypt. Similarly, King Solomon also believed our LORD and he asked Him to give him knowledge and after getting it he build the Temple of our LORD (1 King 3: 11). Saint Paul also left his post and became rebellious in the eyes of Jews and he made a tent on his own expenses and bear the difficulties of oceans. Matthew 4:18-20 tells us that how Saint Peter left his net and followed JESUS CHRIST When He told him that "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Same way we also have to leave the temptations of this world and have to come towards our LORD and we have to do the work which He tells us to do. Job also trusted LORD and in spite of facing so many problems he didn't spoke a word against our LORD. John 1:43-47 tells us that Philip also, first he believed and after that he brought Nathanael to JESUS CHRIST and then they gave baptism to Eunuch and preached the gospel of our LORD (Acts 8:26-47). All the examples that we have seen above and there are many more examples like these in the holy bible; from these examples we have to learn that if we want to come near to our LORD then the first thing is that we will have to keep in Him and along with this faith we have to do all those works also that our LORD wants from us. And, the most important work above all is to preach the Gospel of our LORD among His people, to tell them about the word of our LORD and to bring them near to our LORD. Similarly, we must also do our work along with the faith as it is written in the bible "For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright" Psalms 11:7. That's way JESUS CHRIST in the New Testament said that "faith without works is dead." James 2:20
